Due to a pending staff resignation an excellent opportunity has become available for a

Rural Merchandise Store Assistant.

The objective of this position is to provide exceptional customer service to Killarney Co-op customers through in-store sales and display and accurate administration procedures.

 

Major Duties include:

• Maintain Rural Merchandise sales display and storage areas.
• Ordering of stock.
• Some heavy lifting is required.
• Fertilizer and Seed sales.

 

The successful applicant will:

• Be highly organised and dedicated to customer service.
• Display excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone.
• Be prepared to undertake training as required.
• Be willing to work to a roster, including Saturday mornings.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, a forklift license.

 

A sound knowledge of the rural industry, and sound computer skills would be an advantage.
